Leave Those Kids Alone

Here is the last piece illustrated for the April issue of The Atlantic. The article was about leave those kids alone: childhood is more than merely a springboard to adulthood. I really enjoyed working on these series and I'm glad I was able to come up with images I'm happy with! Thank you for reading!

That's cool - I don't know if you intended it but the tiger makes me think of those Asian 'tiger moms' that people were talking about a while back.

I really like your illustration. There is a calm elegance to your artwork. I agree about the message of leaving kids alone. It's often through play children learn about the ability to explore. If you take that away from children you take away their zest of life.

I saw this illustration and had to find out more about you. And I *love* the Tiger Mom illustration. Just ordered "Wild Wings" from the library and hope they get "Between Two Ends" soon. Keep up the beautiful work!
